We are quick to come into agreement with others just because we share a point of view, but this shouldn't be the case. After all, the devil and his cohorts share our belief in God; they don't deny His kingdom or the magnitude of His glory, because they know it firsthand. But does sharing a common viewpoint mean we should be in agreement with them?

This is the danger of a shared viewpoint: you can easily band together with others based on a single belief, only to be divided when another issue comes up. It becomes a constant cycle of jumping on and off different bandwagons because your views don't always align.

In Christ, there is only one view. There are no different opinions, so we become anchored in a foundation that is unaffected by changing views. We are always looking to the truth, which is only found in the Father.

Let all our agreements be built on Christ.
